What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security measure that enhances the security of your account by requiring you to provide more than just a username and password to authenticate.

MFA typically involves at least two of the following factors:

• Something you know (e.g., a password or PIN)
• Something you have (e.g., a security token, mobile device, or security key)
• Something you are (e.g., biometric data like a fingerprint or facial recognition)

This additional layer of security makes it much harder for an attacker to gain unauthorized access to your account, even if they have your login credentials.
